  • EGM was called for to pass the amendments Dr. Padmini Prasad, read out the amendments the amendments were passed by all the members.
  • BSOG flying squad was inaugurated . We were fortunate to have Dr. Thrilok Chandra as chief guest to inaugurate the flying squad. Dr. Gopinath Shenoy who happened to be in town, also joined the inanguration. Dr. Thrilok Chandra expressed appreciation and extended helping hand from BBMP.
  • BSOG Gnanavarsha unsung hero award, was given to 20 BSOG members. This felicitation was planned for Gnanavarsha, unfortunately it was not done due covid situation araised during at that time.

    Extra General body meeting

  • EGM was called for and conducted on 24th November to revisit the byelaws. Dr. Padmini Prasad, Dr. Latha Venkataram & Dr. Nagarathnamma clarified doubts members had. The amendment was discussed and approval was taken from members.

    • 4th & 5th Gnanavarsha

  • Gnanavarsha was conducted on hybrid platform. The venue was shifted from BMC to API Bhavana. Most of the Faculty attended the conference on site. Delegates attended the conference virtually. The theme of the conference is Menstruation.
  • Free papers were conducted prior to the conference on virtual platform. We had received 18 free papers and 28 posters papers. Poster presentation was conducted physically on 4th December at API Bhavana
  • The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Dayanand Special commsr,(Admn) BBMP as chief Guest and Mrs.Ashwini Angadi, founder Belaku Academy as Guest of Honour.
  • Dr. P R Desai Oration was delivered by Dr. Ramaraju from Vizaq, on the topic The ubiquitous LH –What we knowtoday, unfortunately we could not conduct Dr. Sulochana Gunasheela oration as Dr. Hiremath could not come due to his health issues. Hence it was decided to conduct the oration on a later date.
  • Dr. Thejavathy delivered BSOG Gnanavarsha oration on Impact of Pandemic Covid 19 on Womens health. It was appreciated by all.
  • All topics related to menstruation was discussed in the conference. The topics and speakers was appreciated by all.
  • The results of the free paper and poster paper was announced during the valedictory.
  • The cultural program was postponed to the later date.

    BSOG CME 1-5TH October

  • The CME was initially was planned to be webinar and later it was decided to make it Hybrid. Dr. Susheela Rani and Dr. Thejavathy have put all their efforts in making it successful.
  • We received about 374 registrations, upon that we had more than 80 members participated in the CME.
  • The registration went on till last date.
  • The video were made for drills and 2 mins 2 slides. The case discussions were made live. Jain Hospital provided the auditorium for not only 5 days but also for the recording. Dr. Prakash Mehta Dr. Thejavathy & Dr. Susheela Rani were to get the auditorium free of cost, which also provided free WiFi. We are thank Jain hospital for their kind gesture.
  • All 5 days went on smoothly and time management was maintained.
  • There was lots appreciation received .
  • Post graduates from all over participated in the CME.
